Announcement of the MNL48 Project Resuming Operations Under a New Management Structure
Overseas AKB48 Sister Groups MNL48, originally formed in the Philippines, is pleased to announce that its operations have been transferred to the newly established Japanese corporation MNL48 Inc. (Head Office: 5F, Nishi-Azabu MK Building, 4-1-4 Nishi-Azabu, Minato-ku, Tokyo). Under this new framework, MNL48 will officially restart its activities and continue to expand its presence in the entertainment industry.

Overview of the New Operating Structure
 • Establishment of MNL48 Inc.
In order to further strengthen the MNL48 project, MNL48 Inc. has been formed in Japan. Going forward, this new company will serve as the central pillar supporting all MNL48 activities.

 • New Representative Director
Mr. Shingo Sato, who has extensive experience in the music and entertainment industries, has assumed the role of Representative Director of MNL48 Inc. Under his leadership, the group will reinforce collaboration with local partners in the Philippines and pursue new opportunities for MNL48’s growth.

Profile of the New Representative Director
Shingo Sato
 • Born in 1980
 • Graduated from Kinki University, Faculty of Law
 • Studied guitar and composition at Ann Music School in Kyoto
 • After completing his studies, worked as a guitar instructor, supported numerous musicians, and engaged in music production
 • Continues to leverage his wide-ranging musical experience to spearhead projects in the entertainment sector

Future Direction
MNL48 will build on the recognition and achievements it has earned thus far, striving toward even greater success. In the Philippines, the group’s local activities will now be managed under a service agreement with LiveBuzz Productions Inc. (Head Office: Unit 2N, 2F, The Symphony Towers, Sgt. Esquerra Ave. cor. Timog Ave., South Triangle, Quezon City, 1103, Philippines). This company will be responsible for promotions, management, and event operations for MNL48 in the local market. MNL48 Inc. in Japan will maintain close collaboration with LiveBuzz Productions Inc., ensuring delivery of high-quality entertainment to fans in the Philippines.
